LMS Outdoor Learning Space Greenhouse/Garden Project Updates
February 2025
Status Summary:
Greenhouse installation was completed on February 12
On February 24, the City of Lake Oswego inspected and closed out all permits, including mechanical, electrical, and building permits
School staff and students can begin utilizing the new greenhouse
January 2025
Status Summary:
New garden areas, including garden beds and the circle garden, and irrigation are complete
Land use and building permit applications have been approved
The District has procured the required contractors to complete the scope of work, including an excavator and concrete contractor to build the new slab and a greenhouse installer to build the pre-manufactured structure. An electrical contractor will complete the final scope to provide power to the greenhouse. All contractors are under contract with the District
Construction began Monday, January 20, and completion is targeted for February 14
The schedule status has been modified to Caution due to delays experienced during the permitting process. This has extended construction by a few weeks. The District does not expect any additional delays, and construction completion is targeted for the end of February
December 2024

Greenhouse assembly pending permitting process (Land Use & Building) through the City of Lake Oswego. The district is expecting approval and to begin construction by mid-January
Pending scope includes concrete slab for the greenhouse, assembly of greenhouse and installation of mechanical equipment, electrical scope including routing of power to new greenhouse connections
November 2024
Status Summary:
