Project Updates

March 2026 Status Summary:

  • Additional scope and additional subfloor preparation was added to the project following site investigations. The budget has been adjusted
  • Three bids were received on March 18
  • Rubenstein’s Contract Carpet LLC was the lowest responsive bidder
  • A Notice of Intent to Award was sent to all bidders on March 27
  • A Pre-construction meeting is scheduled for April 1

February 2026 Status Summary:

The high school flooring replacement project will be a two-phase, two-summer project. The first phase, beginning in June 2026, will include replacing carpet with hard-surface flooring in corridors and hallways. The auditoriums, administration offices, and counseling offices will receive new carpeting, and the cafeteria flooring will be replaced with a new hard-surface floor. The second phase will begin in June 2027 and include replacing the carpet in classrooms and the library at both high schools. 

Both phases went out to bid on February 13, with bids due March 18.
