Repair and maintain existing schools
Make repairs to roofs, windows and major building systems. Address seismic issues like gym, roof and wall connections so schools can better withstand a major earthquake. Make energy improvements district-wide such as replacing old, inefficient and high maintenance heating and ventilation systems.
Improve safety at all schools
Implement safety and security upgrades district-wide, such as automatic door locks, controlled entryways and security cameras. Improve access controls and structural issues to enhance overall student and staff safety.
Expand academic options
Add maker spaces and multi-purpose rooms to elementary schools. Add or renovate secondary school vocational/ technical/career classrooms for programs such as science, technology, engineering and math. Make technology infrastructure upgrades and add classroom devices to improve learning experiences for all students.

Rebuild Lakeridge Junior High School due to the structural damage to the existing building from expansive and unstable soils.
